I can’t help but stare at the way his inked skin flexes every time he raises that massive flag against the afternoon sun. Seeing those raw tattoos and that defiant stance makes me want to do more than just stand by his side during this protest. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have experienced that, I’m sure it has caused some sort of trauma, resentment etc and I can acknowledge where you are coming from. I think these protests are more than just immigration issues, for me, it’s more of an authoritarian stance threatening our democracy…a government not being held accountable and doing whatever they like with no repercussions. If we allow them to take an inch, they will continue to take a mile. At the end of the day, Trump and his cronies aren’t just deporting “illegal” immigrants, they are deporting legal residents, suppressing free speech, taking away American citizens rights, deploying the very people against us, who are supposed to protect our country our people. He’s pardon criminals, pedophiles, activists who promote his cause…this is just my short rant as to why I say “Fuck Trump”.
