I know you’re losing your mind staring at these unrecognizable curves, wondering if you should just give in and take the old version one more time. My new design might be seriously ugly to some, but I promise the usability is much more satisfying once you finally get your hands on it. Stop launching the wrong app and start focusing on exactly where you really want to put your finger tonight. As a professional designer I can assure you that from a usability standpoint, these are quite bad.
Bring back the old version. Like the new icons aren’t even close. They’re so unrecognizable that when I go search for them, I forget what I’m looking for before I get to them. It takes me 3 tries to create new events in my calendar or check my email lol
I’m constantly launching Gmail when I’m wanting maps. Fucking give me the envelope icon, your new ones suck, Google.
I really dislike the new icons. I constantly open the wrong apps because they look so similar. I would love to have the old ones back.
Dont even get me started on removing the back buttons on phones.

I guarantee the designer was just sighing and doing what the client wants. Thats what designers do. The executives are who is responsible for the decisions.
