If you don’t have a wedge pillow, get one. I’m a side sleeper, and it really helped me after my surgery. I created a pillow fort kinda. Like a pillow or 2 on each side of me.
But anyways, congrats on your surgery. You’ll be swollen for the first couple of weeks, but it will turn out great. My surgeon gave me scar cream. Just remember to use it if given.
I’ve also heard not to buy any new bras until the swelling goes down. They should give you a surgical bra after the surgery.

Girl there’s a community on Facebook called bustmod. That’s by far the best resource I have found for this type of question.
They simply will not do it while you’re awake. I’m not even sure it’s possible.

Make sure you follow the doctor’s instructions about massaging your breasts. You don’t want scar tissue to build and get capsular contraction.
Under the muscle gives you a more natural look. Over the muscle gives you a “faker” look.
If you want the even faker look, go with the high or ultrahigh profile implants.
