well, actually, he has his personal VK page where he uploads all of his works and ALWAYS names the models, photographers, makeup artists and etc
Not sure it's much of an inside joke.. Lower right corner, there's a logo that says "mavrin" in a strikingly marvel-esque presentation..
Google the name, it will provide you a link to Marvin's tumbler where he posts beautiful pictures of even more beautiful women. I think he actually takes the pictures himself.... He doesn't generally name the model however.
