It really irks me when people associate MILF with an age. The "M" stands for mother, which can be anyone from 11 to the oldest woman. It transcends age, because age is not a factor in deciding whether you are a MILF or not.
But the essence of the term has nothing to do with simply having a child. Its use in American Pie meant more that she was an older woman, old enough to be the mother *of a high school student*. A friend's mom. Popping out a child at 16 doesn't make one a MILF, however technically correct the term might fit.
